Freedom Financial Network Hits Record $15 Billion in Debt Negotiated for Customers

-- Financial Services Company Has Helped More Than 800,000 Everyday Americans on Journey to Brighter Financial Future --

SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 13, 2021 -- Freedom Financial Network, a leading consumer-centric financial services company, announced today that its Freedom Debt Relief solution has become the first in the debt negotiation industry to resolve more than $15 billion in total consumer debt.

Founded in 2002, Freedom Debt Relief (FDR) reached this new milestone just two years after reaching $10 billion in debt negotiation. FDR engages directly with creditors on consumers’ behalf to resolve debt balances, helping people who are unable to repay all of their debt repay an amount they can afford. By offering an alternative to credit counseling, debt consolidation and bankruptcy, the company has helped more than 800,000 consumers resolve their debts to date. The solution has more than 200,000 active customers enrolled currently.

“We are proud to reach this historic milestone as we become the first business to negotiate more than $15 billion in total consumer debt,” said Sean Fox, president of Freedom Debt Relief. “Our mission is to help everyday Americans move from struggling to thriving as we provide solutions to path them to brighter financial futures. Today, we can say that we’ve helped more than 800,000 consumers and we look forward to growing that number in the years ahead.”

Freedom Financial Network offers a full suite of financial solutions for every step of the financial journey. In addition to debt solutions and restructuring, Freedom offers personal loans, home equity lines of credit and financial education.

“As we continue to contend with the impacts of COVID on the economy, many Americans have found themselves struggling to pay their bills,” said Andrew Housser, co-founder and co-CEO of Freedom Financial Network. “Even more will feel the financial stress with the final stimulus benefits ending in early 2022. While there are many ways to contend with debt, not everyone can tighten their budgets. For so many, Freedom offers the help they need to move forward.”
