Jason Pack

Chief Revenue Officer, Freedom Debt Relief

Jason Pack-2x

Jason Pack has built his career around a single conviction: that everyday people carrying the weight of debt deserve a clear path forward. As chief revenue officer of Freedom Debt Relief, Jason leads member growth strategy for the debt relief business, including both direct-to-consumer and partner enrollment channels. His work focuses on connecting more people facing unmanageable debt with a trusted, transparent program and the support they need to begin moving toward a brighter financial future.

He returned to Freedom Debt Relief in August 2024, rejoining an organization he knows well. Jason previously spent more than seven years leading operations for the debt relief business, including serving as chief operating officer. His return brought him back to a team and mission he had helped build, now with an expanded mandate to reach more consumers and strengthen the experience from their first interaction with Freedom Debt Relief.

With more than 20 years in consumer financial services, Jason brings an end-to-end understanding of the consumer debt journey. His experience spans lending, servicing, collections, settlement, enrollment strategy and customer experience, giving him a practical perspective on what consumers need when financial hardship leaves them searching for a sustainable path out of debt.

Leading debt resolution growth

In his current role, Jason oversees member growth strategy across direct-to-consumer and partner enrollment channels for Freedom Debt Relief. He is responsible for how the company reaches, educates and enrolls consumers who are struggling with unsecured debt, with an emphasis on clear communication, responsible growth and building trust from the first interaction.

He brings more than two decades of leadership in consumer financial services, with deep specialization in debt resolution, enrollment strategy, lending operations, and customer experience. Over his career he has managed the full lending and debt servicing process, from underwriting and lending through collections and settlement, which gives him an end-to-end view of how to serve members well at every stage. That perspective helps him connect growth strategy with the operational realities of delivering a debt relief program, ensuring that the experience promised during enrollment can be carried through settlement.

Jason’s leadership supports the continued growth of one of the nation’s largest and longest-running debt settlement providers. Since 2002, Freedom Debt Relief has served more than 2 million consumers and resolved over $20 billion in debt. The company draws on relationships with more than 4,500 creditors, more than 20 years of consumer debt data, artificial intelligence and proprietary technology to develop negotiation strategies tailored to clients’ individual circumstances.

Experience

Earlier in his career, Jason held leadership roles at Discover Financial Services and at DFC Global Corp., building expertise in cardmember operations, customer experience, and collections. His broader financial services experience includes credit cards, personal and student loans, online banking and subprime lending, giving him insight into the range of products and circumstances that can shape a consumer’s financial life.

Jason first joined the company, then known as Freedom Financial Network, in 2015, where he led operations for the debt relief business over several years, including as chief operations officer.

In his words

Jason has been candid about why he came back to the debt resolution business. On his return to Freedom Debt Relief, he said:

This is a great opportunity to return to this organization where I can help reach and support even more consumers that are struggling with debt and searching for a brighter financial future. There are so many everyday people burdened with the weight of debt and I truly believe that we are uniquely positioned to help people take that first step on their journey towards financial freedom.
