This week, Freedom Financial Network employees participated in a blood drive during a critical time of year for Arizona’s blood supply. There is always a need for blood donations, and 500 blood donors are needed daily, to meet the transfusion requirements for Arizona hospitals.

“This is a program that I am very passionate about” said Michelle Scaife, Sr. Benefits Specialist for Freedom Financial Network. “There is a great need for blood donations in the Phoenix area, and I know how much of an impact the Freedom team can make in our community with these donations. I encourage employees to consider donating each quarter, keeping in mind the need for blood that they, their friends or family members may need some day.”

“We were very pleased with the drive overall, and the willingness of the donors to share this life saving gift,” said Crystal Sykes, account manager for the American Red Cross. “The efforts of Freedom Financial Network have always been greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood program will go a long way toward replenishing blood supplies and ultimately saving lives.”

In total, 64 donors registered, collecting 57 units, with each unit of blood, possibly saving up to 3 lives.
